Taiyo Cabletec Corporation is a manufacturer of electric cables, that marked the 90th anniversary of its founding in 2013. Its staple product is FA cables. By marketing series of robot cables and US and European standard cables ahead of its competitors in the industry, the company has enjoyed continued patronage from many users in Japan. It has a particular track record in servomotors, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, machine tools and industrial robots, and its products are also used by major manufacturers. Overseas, Taiyo Cabletec Corporation has group companies in China and Thailand. In China, it has plants in Dongguan (Guangdong Province) and Suzhou (Jiangsu Province), and in Thailand, it has a plant in the Amata Nakorn Industrial Estate. Many of its clients are Japanese-affiliated enterprises, although recently, there has been an increase in the number of other clients. The company also deals in cable assemblies, in which cables already have connectors attached.
