Founded in 1917, Koeisha & Company is a fourth-generation manufacturer of toothpicks. The company develops all of its own manufacturing equipment. For 50 years, the company has been exporting its Dental Pick triangular toothpicks for protecting teeth to the northern European market. Only nine companies worldwide produce this toothpick, with Koeisha & Company being the only company in Japan. Taking this opportunity, the company has developed and manufactures its own original dental care products. The Doctor Pick toothpick for cleaning interdental spaces was developed in collaboration with government and academia, taking the conventional round toothpick and processing its tip into a triangular shape. This toothpick is a world first.
