As a pioneer of thermal processing "studying the science of metals and striving for the next generation of thermal processing," Osaka Yakin Kogyo specializes in various types of vacuum heat treatment, as well as vacuum brazing, gas nitriding processing and other forms of surface treatment, and is engaged in the manufacture of sintered parts using MIM (metal injection molding) as a derivative technology of these.

MIM is just one branch of sintering. It is the technology of using injection molding to manufacture high-precision metal components of complex shapes. It is suited to the mass production and medium volume production of small items and hard-to-process materials. Using its own unique production technologies, the company carries out manufacturing making the most of the characteristics of its MIM (O-MIM), including further densification, measures for highly reliable parts and joint development that includes new materials.
