Cladding

●Precious and non-precious metal cladding

KOUEI manufactures clad materials in which precious metals are laminated to rolled copper products. The clad surfaces are heat-treated to form a strong alloy layer, resulting in a composite material with excellent adhesion and are mainly used as electrical contact material.

KOUEI offers cladding process to inlay different metals and overlaying process with two layers. In addition, KOUEI has in-house inspection equipment capable of verifying customer specifications to ensure thorough quality control.

KOUEI manufactures rolled strips in a wide range of steel grades, from pure nickel, nickel alloys, copper alloys and to aluminum alloys.

The 20 axis rolling mill at its own factory can produce rolled foil up to 20 μm. KOUEI can accommodate small batch production from prototype level.
