Students from South Korea visited the MOBIO Tech Hall to learn from Japan's industry and innovation

This is the state-of-the-art technology developed by Japanese SMEs. At the MOBIO Tech Hall and MOBIO WEB site, search for "The Latest Made in Japan Tech" to improve product features and functions.

Since many large companies from South Korea also visit the Tech Hall, MOBIO made sure to show the students the booths that recently impressed Korean big-name firms--giving them a glimpse of what's making waves in the industry.

In South Korea, there's the high-speed rail system known as KTX, and many of the students showed a strong interest in railway safety. We explained that in Japan's Shinkansen, Hardlock Nuts are widely used in areas where impact loads and vibrations from the trains are concentrated--such as where the sleepers are fixed to bridge girders. When they heard that these nuts help prevent loosening and reduce the risk of parts falling off, they were amazed and said, "That's incredibly powerful technology!"

Ultra-thin products fabricated by photo-etching, half-etching _ SGK CO., LTD.

MOBIO asked, "How do you think this long part was made?" and received their reply, "It's not pressed, not drilled... no idea!" Then MOBIO explained, "It's actually made using an etching process that shapes the material through chemical treatment." That's when they realized, "Oh, so that's how they make such thin speaker covers!" and looked genuinely impressed.
