●Developing an Outlandish "Transforming Wheelchair"

Folding the wheelchair to carry it on the back, and stand up to go up the stairs.... It's "W-Chair" designed by MAKOTO BIONICS.

As the CEO of a startup corporation, Konishi initiated development of W-Ｃhair (named after a wheelchair and walk), noticing steady growth of electric wheelchair market at an annual rate of around 17%. He estimated W-Chair's market will be 2% of that market.

Based on the product design and possible mass production line, Konishi is considering better ways of prototyping.

●Technological capabilities to produce "rehabilitation equipment"

Patients and medical professionals are waiting for "Elbow and Wrist Rehabilitation Equipment". With this equipment, they can easily obtain data on each person's angle, speed and strength. Moreover visualizing the degree of recovery will help patients maintain motivation of training.

The control technology for moving the joints directly with the device was cultivated through the development of assistive suits and massage chairs. MAKOTO applies its technology to Rehabilitation Equipment.

The company has received inquiries from investors in Germany, U.S. and China to the W-Chair. On top of that, Konishi says "I want to invite more investors to notice our technology of development and design".
